GIS-Based Analysis of Drinking Water Quality in Kuwaiti Residential Areas

Abstract :The analysis of heavy metals and bromate in drinking water is pivotal due to their significant health implications and regulatory oversight under National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. This study focuses on mapping the spatial distribution of these contaminants through a synthesis of existing data and new water sampling across residential areas in Kuwait. Employing GRAPHER software, correlations among diverse chemical parameters will be explored. The research aims to provide critical insights to Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity and Water and Ministry of Health, aiding evidence based decision-making, enabling corrective measures, and informing strategic infrastructure planning.
