Author : Dariga Seisenbayeva
Abstract :The Kazakh language is an indigenous language belonging to the Turkic languages. Currently, the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the countries that has the opportunity to compete in international arenas. The number of Kazakh language users worldwide is about 40 million. Citizens of other countries are increasingly interested in the culture, traditions and language of our people. Proof of this: the Kazakh language is taught as a foreign language in a number of state universities. The main result of teaching Kazakh as a foreign language is a person who has mastered the language and is able to think in Kazakh and freely using it in communication. In achieving such a result, not only high IQ plays a role, but also the individual emotional intelligence of the language learner and teacher. Learning or teaching a language is a long process. A person with high emotional intelligence is a person who is able to constantly notice and optimally control his own and others' emotions and motivations. The importance of emotional intelligence is proven in the field of psychology. Judging by the practical results, the emotional state and intelligence of language learners always play an important role when teaching Kazakh as a foreign language.
