Pembrolizumab ( Keytruda)- A Novel in the Market & An Aid to Cancer

Abstract : Pembrolizumab, is a monoclonal antibody marketed under the commercial name- Keytruda It is a humanized monoclonal antibody and an immunotherapy drug, and treats numerous cancers- melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, head and neck cancer, Hodgkin's lymphoma. Approved for medical use in the United States in 2014, it is listed on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. Fixed-dose combination of pembrolizumab and Bera hyaluronidase alfa, (Keytruda Qlex) has been approved for medical use in the United States, September 2025. Research shows that pre-surgery, a combination of Pembrolizumab +standard chemo + adjuvant monotherapy, improves outcomes in early-stage TNBC
