Abstract :The aim of the research is to describe healthcare professionals' use of IT in home healthcare services through a sustainable development model. In this research, which was planned as a qualitative design, analysis was made with a deductive approach. The population of the research consisted of all health professionals working in a provincial training and research hospital and the Home Health Services unit of a metropolitan municipality, and the sample consisted of 13 health professionals who met the research criteria and volunteered to participate in the study. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data and phenomenological experiences were recorded. A recorder was used during recording. The researchers electronically transcribed the audio recordings verbatim. NVivo 12 program was used to code and organize the data. According to the analyses, advantages have been achieved by using information technologies in terms of not wasting paper, using time and care skills more efficiently, reaching more individuals in a shorter time, reducing treatment costs and preventing important information about the patient from being overlooked.
