Abstract :This paper examines the role of the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (SHAS) Mosque’s management at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in fostering the spiritual and intellectual development of society. Employing a qualitative research approach, the study explores the mosque’s management strategies through an analysis of its activities and programs. The findings reveal that the SHAS Mosque significantly contributes to spiritual enrichment and intellectual advancement through diverse initiatives that positively impact both the IIUM community and the broader Muslim society. Its management framework is effectively aligned with the mosque’s vision and mission, ensuring their successful implementation. These findings underscore the essential value of structured governance systems that are meticulously designed and aligned with the institution’s objectives, demonstrating their pivotal role in advancing sustainable societal development by fostering both spiritual growth and intellectual progress.
