Acute occlusive mesenteric ischemia: Superior Mesenteric thrombosis with Celiac Artery thrombosis-A RARE CASE REPORT

Abstract : We want to report here a case of Superior mesenteric artery thrombosiss withi celiac artery thrombosis confirmed by СЕСТ АВDOMEN + mesenteric angiography. A 32 year old male patient admitted to our hospital with abdominal pain and severe guarding .Abdominal CT showed complete celiac artery thrombosis with superior mesenteric artery thrombosis.On surgical exploration, gangrenous bowel loops of distal jejunum and ileum were found. Histologically, resected specimen shows features of total necrosis of mucosa extending upto Finally a rare case of Superior mesenteric artery thrombosis along with celiac artery thrombosis has been achieved confirmed by СЕСТ АBDOMEN with mesenteric angiography.
