Employer Feedback on Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Academic Years 2022–2024

Abstract :This study investigates employer feedback on the graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program from Academic Years 2022-2024. The research aims to assess the performance, skills, and competencies of these graduates as perceived by their managers, supervisors, and colleagues in the hospitality industry. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with employers, focusing on various performance indicators, including job readiness, technical skills, interpersonal abilities, and overall work ethic. The results indicate that BSHM graduates from the specified period are generally well-regarded, with employers expressing satisfaction with their job performance. The study highlights that the graduates possess commendable skills and competencies that meet industry standards, with only minor areas for improvement noted. Employers reported minimal issues with the graduates, suggesting that the training and education provided by the program are effective in preparing students for the workforce. Based on these findings, the study concludes that the BSHM program successfully equips its graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge for their careers. However, it recommends that the school administration and stakeholders continue to refine and enhance the curriculum to further align with evolving industry expectations. Additionally, it encourages students to actively engage in extracurricular activities that enhance their practical skills and employability. The study also suggests that the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management should maintain an ongoing dialogue with students and industry professionals to ensure that the education provided remains relevant and responsive to the needs of the hospitality sector
