Real estate GIS data for informed decision making

Abstract :The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is implementing its visionary Saudi Vision 2030, which serves as the strategic framework for reducing dependence on oil, diversifying its economy, and improving the quality of life. One key is the Real Estate Registration of all real estate in Saudi Arabia, aiming to increase transparency and trust in real estate information and attract investments. The presentation will highlight the importance of integrating Real Estate GIS with other available data, such as utility information, sales transaction data, and demographic information, to create a comprehensive data source that supports informed decision making, innovative urban development, and attracts international and local investment. The presentation also covers lessons learned during this process and offers creative solutions to the challenges encountered. Additionally, the presentation explores the societal benefits of real estate registration and the transparency and trust it fosters in the real estate market
