Impact of Distinction AI Learning Platform on Student Engagement and Performance in Nigerian Higher Education Institutions

Abstract :Nowadays Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been integrated into the core aspect of teaching and learning among higher education institutions (HEI). Distinction AI on the other hand mitigate certain educational challenges such as curriculum development, quality content creation of learning resources, and personalized learning analytics. AI has revolutionized the learning experience for students in Nigerian HEIs. This paper evaluates the value addition introduced to the Nigerian HEIs by Flexisaf edusoft limited through the design and development of Distinction AI-Powered Learning solution. The distinction AI platform has several advantages such interactive learning and student engagement; simplified content creation for lecturers; enhanced curriculum alignment; real-time performance analytics and faculty empowerment plus gamification in learning. This initiative is also an opportunity for policy makers and researchers to study and analyse students learning pace through real time engagement, performance data and analytics report of the system.
