Development of a Meaningful Participation Approach for Early Childhood Education Personnel in the Management of Learning Environments for Early Childhood in a Multicultural Society

Abstract :This participatory action research. The sample comprised early childhood educational personnel within the That Phanom Subdistrict Municipality, That Phanom District, Nakhon Phanom Province, totaling 10 people,the results of this research were as follows: 1) The current situation in the management of the learning environment for early childhood in a multicultural society indicates that educational personnel possess knowledge, understanding, and positive attitudes, and recognize the importance of a well-maintained physical environment, which influences the mental state and learning experiences of young children. On the other hand, there is little drive for personal growth, and management procedures are not adequately integrated within the framework of a multicultural society,2)The study outlines five steps for the meaningful participation of early childhood educational personnel in the management of learning environments for early childhood in a multicultural society: 1) Co-Needs Assessment, 2) Co-Operative Goal Setting, 3) Co-Design, 4) Co-Review of Goals, and 5) Co-Implementation.
