Life Education Exhibition Across Generations: An Action Research on the Montessori Approach through University and Community Collaboration in Taiwan

Abstract :This action research, conducted by the researcher and 34 students, explored how an elder counseling course and a community counseling course at National Chiayi University collaborated with the Social Welfare Foundation to co-organize a one-week “Life Education Exhibition” as a pedagogical and community engagement initiative. The research concludes with a community-based intervention using the Montessori-based approach (Camp et al., 1997; Camp & Skrajner, 2004), fostering intergenerational dialogue and enhancing life meaning for all ages. The following section illustrates the action process, exhibition theme, and key descriptions.
