Author : Ulpan Tokkozhina, Ana Lucia Martins

Abstract :AMR Educare project (https://www.amreducare.eu/) funded by European Union is aiming to transform the healthcare industry by equipping health workforce – both clinical and non-clinical staff with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to tackle antimicrobial resistance. Under the scope of the project, courses for health workers were developed, including modules on (1) optimization of antimicrobial prescription, (2) reduction and management of antimicrobial waste, (3) empowerment of patients through effective communication and (4) education on applying cutting-edge technologies and digital skills on behavioral change for antimicrobial prescription. The proposed poster is going to communicate the results of training modules for healthcare workers categories: doctors, nurses, pharmacists and healtcare administrative workers across several European countries, including Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Greece and Lithuania. The results are based on post-module assessments and are aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the communicated material, as well as to measure the behavioral change in terms of prescription and promotion of antibiotics
