The effectiveness of self-healing fiber reinforced concrete A Review
Author : Ms Varsha Vilas Doijad
Abstract :Self-healing fiber reinforced concrete (SHFRC), is a novel method that has the potential to improve the durability and lifetime of concrete structures. A summary and evaluation of the current state of research on SHFRC is the purpose of this review paper. Particular attention will be paid to the mechanisms, applications, and efficacy of this research. The incorporation of fibers into self healing concrete has demonstrated encouraging outcomes in terms of crack control, reduction of permeability, and enhancement of mechanical qualities. In the subject of SHFRC, this study presents major findings, discusses obstacles, and offers future research directions. There are also some suggestions for further research.
