Collective learning in participatory planning.
Author : Dominika Pazder
Abstract :The presentation deals with the chosen aspects of collective learning in participatory design. Collaborative design can be effectively used as a long-life learning method in the context of transferring knowledge about responsibility for public space. Poland, as a post-communist country that experienced a regression of the sense of shared responsibility in favor of particular interests as a result of the political transformation of the 1990s, has become a kind of laboratory of educational techniques aimed at raising awareness of the value of jointly creating space. The democratization of society requires continuous education, strengthening and creating civic attitudes. In this context, cooperation between the academic community and the external environment - various stakeholders of public spaces, is a kind of study example.
