Reimagining Colonial architecture in Oran: A path to an alternative Design

Abstract :This study explores how Oran’s French colonial architecture can inspire alternative and sustainable design solutions, through selected case studies, it proposed creative strategies for reusing historic buildings to meet modern urban needs ,by blending heritage and innovation, the research highlights how colonial legacy can serve as a resource for resilient architectural development in postcolonial Mediterranean cities.
