A committee identified by the provost was charged with identifying the challenges and opportunities post by GenAI, Comprised of faculty representing the three campuses of the university and multiple disciplines, the committee determined that a survey of various constituencies within the university would provide helpful direction in making decisions about how to approach Generative AI. This survey revealed dramatic differences in the knowledge of, experience with, and expectations for this new technology among the three constituencies of students, faculty, and staff.
