Fintech and Bank Performance in the MENA Region: Literature Review of Current Evidence and Research Gaps

Abstract :This paper aims to investigate how the adoption of financial technology (fintech) influences bank performance in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This study highlights the fintech affecting MENA countries’ bank performance in the literature review. The finding of this study is fintech has a more significant and positive impact on bank performance. The results of this study may give top managers and decision-makers a theoretical knowledge and understanding of the factors that could impact bank performance in the MENA banking industry. The banking industry in the MENA region will also benefit from this study.
